This year we will also be collecting food (i.e., suitable for food parcels) as well as toys.

If you are bringing a gift, please don’t wrap it, but provide a piece of wrapping paper with it so the coordinators can decide for which gender / what ages each gift is most suitable.

Our next Church Meeting is this thursday (20th October) at 7:30pm.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Fred and the family as we hold Margaret’s funeral service this morning.  The service is at Church at 11:00am followed by Committal at Southport Crematorium at 12:00.

Our service will be a Cafe-style service, held in our Main Hall at 10:30am.

All are welcome, and we’d love to see you there!

HAPPY EASTER!

It’s been a lovely sunny day, and more than being a reason to eat lots of chocolate (although that’s nice too!), we’re celebrating the fact that:

JESUS IS ALIVE!

 We have no further services at our own church today, but you might be interested in an event at GRACE BAPTIST Church tonight at 8:15pm; “With God On The Streets” is a chance to hear Robin Oak’s story.  Further information is available from Grace Baptist Church website.

Good Friday, 22nd April:

Service at 10:30 am

followed by  Walk of Witness in town.

Easter Sunday, 24th April:

Easter Breakfast at 9:00am, followed by

Communion Service at 10:30am

‘Up Up and Away’ is our new club for kids aged 5-9yrs and is a follow on from our successful Holiday Club last summer. It will run from 10am - 11.15am on a saturday morning (for dates see below) and will include singing, Bible stories, crafts and games. Admission is free but pre-booking is recommended.

The dates of the club for the first half of 2010 will be:
